How to play
Sprt City is a browser game. No wallet, no signup, no download. This page is everything the city will not tell you on its own.
Getting in
Open the city. You land on Trophy Plaza as a fresh Rookie with 500 CASH, a team snapback and five needs that are already ticking down. Your progress saves to your browser — clearing site data resets you.
Set your name and pick a kit colour in the Your Athlete panel on the right. That name is what shows above your head and in the huddle.
You do not need to hold $SPRT to play. The city is free and always will be. The token is the reason the skyline exists, not a key to unlock it.
Controls
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Walk | Click any tile. Your athlete routes around buildings and sticks to pavement. |
| Pan the camera | Drag anywhere on the map. This unlocks the camera from your athlete. |
| Zoom | Scroll, or the + / − buttons. |
| Re-centre | The ⊕ button snaps the camera back and follows you again. |
| Start a run | Click a 🏀 or 🏋️ marker, or the Streetball / Gear duty buttons. |
| Visit a champ | Click any row in Top Champs, or click their tower. |
| Chat | Press Enter to jump to the huddle, type, Enter to send. |
| Close a panel | Esc. |
Running the streets
Two runs pay CASH. Both work the same way: get to the marker, then stand completely still while the ring around your athlete closes. Moving cancels the run and you get nothing.
| Run | Where | Time | Pays | Fouls |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🏀 Streetball set | Courts on pavements across the city | 6.5s | ~130 CASH | +4 |
| 🏋️ Gear duty | The marina strip | 8.5s | ~190 CASH | +7 |
Payouts scale with your level (+12% per level) and carry a random ±20% swing. Every finished run also gives 28 XP and 6 $SPRT points, and costs a little stamina and hunger.
Daily cap: 25,000 CASH. Once you hit it, runs stop paying until the cap resets at midnight. The cap is per day, not per session.
Fouls and the refs
Fouls are the price of playing hard. They rise with every run and bleed off slowly on their own — about 13 points every minute you are not working.
- Under 70: nothing happens. This is where you want to live.
- 70 and over: two referees spawn and start walking toward you, and every payout is halved until you cool down.
- Caught: a red card fines you 10% of your CASH (capped at 600), resets your fouls to 38 and sends the referees away.
- Under 35: the referees lose interest and leave.
The fast way down is The Locker Room. Standing inside burns roughly 7 fouls per second, which takes you from foul trouble to a clean sheet in about ten seconds. It also tops up your loyalty need.
Needs and stations
Your athlete has five needs. They all drain at the same slow rate and none of them will kill you — they are a reason to move around the city rather than stand on one marker forever.
| Need | Top it up at |
|---|---|
| Hunger | 🥗 Court Café |
| Stamina | 🏋️ Iron Gym |
| Style | 👟 Fresh Kicks |
| Fun | 📣 The Fan Zone |
| Loyalty | 🚿 The Locker Room |
Walk into the building's block and the bar refills while you stand there. Talking in the huddle also nudges your fun back up.
The pro shop
Nine items, fixed supply per season, bought with CASH. Some are cosmetic, some change how the city treats you, and the top two are trophies.
| Item | Price | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| 🧢 Team Snapback | 450 | Common |
| 🎽 Home Jersey | 900 | Common |
| 👟 Speed Cleats | 1,200 | Common |
| 🎟️ Courtside Seats | 4,200 | Rare |
| 🚴 Track Bike | 6,800 | Rare |
| 🪧 Jumbotron Ad | 18,000 | Epic |
| 🗝️ Trophy Room Key | 32,000 | Epic |
| 🏟️ Skybox Suite | 120,000 | Legendary |
| 🏆 The Golden Boot | 260,000 | Legendary |
At the daily cap of 25,000 the Golden Boot is roughly eleven days of disciplined work. It is meant to be a season-long goal, not a weekend one.
Daily runs and streaks
Five runs reset every day at midnight:
- Finish 3 street runs — 30 points
- Visit 2 champ towers — 20 points
- Check in at the Trophy — 25 points
- Cool off in the locker room — 20 points
- Send 5 messages in the huddle — 15 points
Logging in on consecutive days builds your streak. Miss a day and it drops back to one.
Ranks and points
XP moves you up the ladder: Rookie → Prospect → Starter → Playmaker → Captain → All-Star → MVP → Legend. Higher levels pay more per run.
XP and $SPRT points are in-game progression only. They are not the token, they are not tradeable, and they are not a claim on anything.
The table and the pot
The ten stadium towers ringing the plaza are the top ten traders of the season. Tower height is rank — number one gets the tallest, brightest block. The plaque floating above each tower shows the handle and live PnL; the sidebar shows their cut of the pot.
The golden monument in the middle is the Trophy. It holds the season pot and the countdown to payout. At the end of the season the pot splits across the top ten, weighted by rank.
Until a live leaderboard feed is connected, the city runs a simulated season so there is always a skyline and a pot. The panel says DEMO SEASON while that is the case.
Turfs and the huddle
The Turf field in the header is a world seed. Type a different word and hit Enter to generate a completely different city — different street layout, different tower placement, different league table. Share your turf name and other people land in the same city you did.
The Huddle is the chat box at the bottom. Locals talk on their own; type to join in. Five messages clears a daily run.
FAQ
Do I need a wallet?
No. The city never asks for one and never will.
Where does my progress live?
In your browser's local storage. Same browser, same device, same progress. Clearing site data wipes it.
Is the chat real multiplayer?
Not yet — the huddle currently runs locally with the city's own residents talking. Live multiplayer chat and presence arrive when the backend is switched on. See the docs.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Tap to walk, pinch to zoom, and the ☰ button opens the side panel.
When is the token?
$SPRT launches on pump.fun on 15 August at 4:00 PM UTC. The contract address goes up on the home page and the pinned post on X at the same moment. Anything posted before then is a fake.
